Emotional Maps

Christian Nold has been working on a cartography project. He has been making emotional maps for the past three years. He has made maps in places like Sienna, Italy, Munich, Germany, and San Francisco. Christian Nold recruits volunteers and asks them to roam around the neighborhoods for over an hour. When the volunteers come back, Christian Nod gives them a lie detector test and asks them what they saw and how they felt about what they saw. The lie detector test helps Christian Nod determine what each volunteer was really feeling when they went into to the neighborhoods and looked at the maps. Christian Nod downloads the emotional maps to his web site

Personal Blog

I would like to learn how to build a computer, that way I wouldn’t have my mom hovering over my neck watching what I’m doing. I have a computer desk sitting in my room all I need is a computer. That and wireless internet access. I am trying to get into computer system design so that I can learn. Mr. Hinman said that on www.howstuffworks.com/ I can also find out how to build a computer. I even looked on ebay so I could buy one.

Del.Icio.US

I tagged three websites on my del.icio.us account. I tagged them because they are either things I am interested in or things I think are important. I tagged about soccer, old school videogames and endangered species. I tagged the soccer one because I like to play soccer and anyone who also likes it wants to learn how to play it can see on my del.icio.us account. Then I tagged the one about old school videogames because a lot of people are into videogames and they don’t really know about the originals. Last but definitely not least I tagged a website on endangered species because it is a serious problem that I think people should be aware of. So I got a list of endangered species so that people could look to see what species are dying out. Whether its due to poaching, global warming, or insufficient food.

First Person Shooters (FPS)

First-person shooter or FPS is a video game genre which is characterized by an onscreen view that shows the in-game character's point of view and a focused on the use of handheld ranged weapons. FPS is also a term used by tactical response teams as the person who shoots first. First-person shooters have been subject to substantial controversy because of the levels of violence included in most games. The level of realism is increased when the video game world is seen through the first-person perspective. "Numerous gamers have noted, as a tongue in cheek remark, that "Real life is basically like an FPS, but with better graphics"."
